MEGAFOOD | ROOT TO RISE

MegaFood® was one of the original 10 B-Corps initiated.
This past year, they were in need of a solid brand identity refresh. Their AOR wasn’t meeting the challenge, so MegaFood® hired me to create a new visual identity and language system that was more modern and conversational.
Responsibilities include: creative direction & design, hire freelance copywriters for manifesto and site copy and lead all client presentations.

SITE + SOCIAL RE-BRAND

Vibe: Warm + Friendly, with a strong focus on diversity. Art Direction: Mix of lifestyle + vegetation with fixed tabletop.

 

TABLETOP ART DIRECTION

Down with the Ina Garten white marble and caesar stone tabletop mediocrity. Time to embrace, set design, food styling, strong lines and bold color.

 

HOMEPAGE DESIGN

MegaFood® wanted to integrate more content and lifestyle photography into their current e-comm site. Along with some editorial headlines to draw people into their brand story.

Above the fold either lead with a value story or product.
Secondary navigation centered on the e-comm. Then we worked a third navigation to did deeper into the B-Corp values.

Finally, their blog being the primary way they release content and heighten SEO prevalence, we had a bit more fun renaming: “Hits from the Bog” (to honor their large cranberry bogs in Ohio.)
